What is your role at Pathway Legal?

I am a Legal Assistant at Pathway Legal. My role in this office is to assist lawyers with clients' matters and assist clients in having a better experience at different stages of their cases.

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

Being an instrument of the law is gratitude. My most significant participation was when I was able to help a family to have the correct access to justice. They trusted me a lot and had only me to turn to.

What should clients look for in a lawyer or law firm?

A client should be seeking a peaceful place where he or she can feel safe, confident and unique. I can see this at Pathway Legal; first, because the place is agreeable, not a typical office with formalities, and second because the clients can be confident. Each client is unique here.

What are your interests in addition to law?

Here in Canada, I can enjoy more time with my family and with nature, which is so lovely. I also love travelling and being with my family. Travelling is the best thing we can do because it changes the way you see the world as we  discover new places, cultures, customs, foods, and people.

What attracted you to Pathway Legal?

I saw the website, and the values ​​and principles were like mine. I also saw how family law and divorce are handled in the office, with the best way to resolve any conflict, looking at the client attentively and carefully.

What is your favourite kind of animal and what makes it your favourite? 

I love butterflies because they remind me of my grandfather. They make me feel at peace and protected. But I can't stop talking about the dogs because they are companions and make me very happy. I am a dog-friendly person. 🦋
