What is your role at Pathway Legal?

I am a lawyer at Pathway Legal.

What should clients look for in a lawyer or law firm?

Clients should look for a lawyer who not only has strong legal knowledge, but who also communicates clearly, listens carefully and treats them with respect. In family law especially, trust and comfort are incredibly important.

A good law firm should make clients feel supported, informed and confident that their concerns are being taken seriously. Responsiveness, transparency, and professionalism all matter.

What attracted you to Pathway Legal?

I was drawn to Pathway Legal because of its client-centered approach and supportive environment. It was clear to me that the firm values both strong advocacy and compassionate client service, which aligns closely with how I want to practice law. I also appreciated the collaborative atmosphere and the opportunity to continue developing as a lawyer while helping clients navigate challenging transitions in their lives.

What differentiates you from other family lawyers?

I approach family law with both empathy and determination. Clients deserve a lawyer who can advocate strongly for them while also understanding the emotional realities behind the legal issues.

I pride myself on being approachable, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in my clients’ outcomes. I also understand the importance of communication — clients should never feel lost or uncertain about what is happening in their case. My goal is to make complex legal issues feel more manageable and less intimidating.

What are your interests in addition to law?

Outside of law, I enjoy pottery, painting, hiking, travelling, fitness and exploring cafés and local businesses. I also love spending time in nature and visiting art galleries whenever I can.

What training and education have you completed?

I completed my legal education and subsequently completed the Professional Legal Training Course (PLTC) in British Columbia. During my articling, I gained experience in civil litigation. I was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2026.

If you were not a lawyer, what would you be doing?

I would likely be pursuing something creative — probably running an art or pottery studio. I have always loved creating things with my hands and find art incredibly grounding and rewarding.

What is your favourite animal and why?

Dogs are my favourite animals because of their loyalty, warmth and ability to bring comfort to people. I also love how they can instantly make any environment feel more welcoming.

Who is your biggest professional inspiration?

One of my biggest professional inspirations is Barack Obama. I admire his ability to remain thoughtful, composed and empathetic while still being a strong and persuasive advocate. His communication style and leadership approach are qualities I deeply respect.
