What is Journey's lineage?

The inspiration for Journey comes from the dogs in our lives who have touched our hearts deeply. Journey has a bit of Inu (our Chief Barking Officer):  A cheeky, memorable, and quite naughty terrier. There is also has a bit of Lady Maya (Junior Paw-ssociate). Maya is a loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with soulful eyes, and she happens to be the BEST hugger.

Journey also takes after Dogger, a terrier from an earlier time who was, well, almost human, and who always had such deep wisdom. Journey carries the energy of other cheeky quirky loyal loveable dogs in her personality like Nattie and Tuco. 

How does Journey relate to me?

Journey is more than just a symbol or a friendly face. When things get you down, Journey is right with you, reminding you that you are exactly like Journey: you are smart, you are bold, you are strong, and you are lovable, with inner wisdom you can count on.

Journey is like most of us. Journey is not “coiffed” or “perfect” but because of experience, and even some bumps in the road, Journey holds true wisdom just like you do. Journey's true strength, just like yours, comes from within.

How do we know this? The very fact that you exist on this planet means you are a gift. The universe/source/God/creator does not make junk. You are here on this planet for a reason.
